Harvard University in Cambridge, MA seeks a Laboratory Technician to maintain human pluripotent stem cells and 3D cerebral organoids for neurodevelopment studies in vitro. Under the PI and senior scientists, you will contribute to daily lab tasks and data collection.

The role offers direct training from postdocs, a 1-year term, and a 35-hour work week in a busy, collaborative environment with comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Experience with basic biological laboratory techniques is required.
• BS/BA in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience or related field or equivalent.
• At least one year of directly related, full-time experience in a research lab is recommended.
• Prior experience with mammalian cell culture, especially stem cell and neuronal cultures, is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills are required.

Mansioni

• Record results of experiments, prepare material for analysis and diagnosis.
• Assist with molecular/phenotypic characterizations and tissue histology.
• Support other related duties in a collaborative laboratory setting.
