Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants is seeking a RoofField Inspector to join our independent contractor network. You will inspect steep and high roofs, assess exterior and interior damage, and perform underwriting property inspections using modern tech.

We value safety, professionalism, attention to detail, empathy for insureds, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Roofing or insurance claims experience is a plus but not required; must provide reliable vehicle and equipment as described.

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable vehicle capable of transporting a 32’ ladder.
• Must have a Lidar device or ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams.
• HAAG Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect steep and high roofs to assess damage.
• Evaluate exterior and interior damage for claims.
• Perform underwriting property inspections.
• Utilize lidar tech and digital tools to document findings.
• Contribute to risk assessment and prevent further damage until repairs.
