Job summary

Qualdoc is seeking a dependable Steel Yard Equipment Operator in Richmond, VA to support material movement and loading operations in an outdoor steel yard. You will operate equipment, move structural steel, and assist with trailer and material handling activities.

Key duties include operating overhead cranes, using Pettibone equipment, repositioning trailers, and loading/unloading trailers safely. Must follow safety procedures and maintain reliable attendance in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience operating cranes and handling materials.
• Experience loading structural steel with an overhead crane is required.
• Experience with Pettibone equipment is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to learn additional equipment; training provided.

Responsibilities

Shift: 2nd Shift
Pay: Starting at $22.00/hour, with higher pay available based on experience, plus a $3.00/hour 2nd shift differential.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable Steel Yard Equipment Operator to support material movement and loading operations in an outdoor steel yard. This role involves operating various equipment, moving structural steel, and assisting with trailer and material handling activities.
