Job summary

Cannonball Recruiting LLC is seeking a Steel Yard Jockey for a client in the United States. The role involves unloading trucks, moving structural steel with a Pettibone, and using a jockey truck to position trailers around the yard.

The position operates on a first shift (Mon-Fri) from 5:00am to 3:30pm, with compensation of $21-22 per hour and a benefits package including health/dental/vision, PTO, holidays, 401k, and life insurance. Drug screening applies prior to starting.

Qualifications

• Experience with a jockey truck moving around trailers.
• Experience with moving steel with Pettibones and Forklifts.
• Must have experience with Pettibone moving 9,000 lb+ items.
• Experience with overhead crane is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks as part of the outside crew.
• Move structural steel with Pettibone and forklifts.
• Use a jockey truck to move trailers around the yard.
