Doing Steel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to operate overhead cranes, lift and position heavy steel components, and support production needs with a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.
The role requires a valid overhead crane certification and 1–2 years of experience, plus the ability to read load charts, apply rigging techniques, and communicate clearly with team members in a noisy industrial setting.
JOB TITLE: Crane Operator
Doing Steel is looking for Overhead Steel Crane Operators who will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads. You'll be working with great team members focusing First On Safety to ensure that materials are moved and loaded for successful operation of production needs.
Exposure to dust, fumes, noise and high-degree varying seasonal temperatures. Machinery with energy sources including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical, or other energy.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, handle, grasp or feel; reach with hands and arms climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Additional effort requirements consist of, but are not limited to, lifting, pushing and pulling material, stairs, and ladders. When there is an occasion to move heavy material greater than 50 pounds, the operator will request assistance from another team member or utilize provided lifting equipment.
