DIS-TRAN Steel in Pineville, LA is seeking a CAD Operator I with AutoCAD skills to join our fabrication team. The role develops erection and detail drawings of steel structures and prepares BOMs and digital fabrication files, coordinating with engineers and project coordinators to ensure accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and AutoCAD experience, strong math, and is a team player with good multitasking and time management abilities.

Competenze

• High school diploma required; technical 2 year degree in AutoCAD preferred.
• AutoCAD experience and technical competency is required.
• A strong math background is required for this position.
• The ideal candidate shall be a team player, detail oriented, great at multi-tasking and time management.

Mansioni

• Creates erection and detailed drawings of steel structures for fabrication.
• Creates bill of materials and digital files for fabrication at the Plant location.
• Coordinates with Engineers and Project Coordinators to translate drawings and correct errors as needed by the Plant.
