Responsibilities

• Assist Slitter Operator in setting up and operating the slitting machine to cut steel coils to specified dimensions.
• Monitor the slitting process to ensure quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of slitting equipment for safety and performance.
• Handle and transport steel coils and finished products using appropriate equipment and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety standards.
• Collaborate with team to troubleshoot operational issues and report discrepancies in material usage.
• Assist in inventory management and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
