Kenwal Steel is seeking a Slitter Helper to assist in slitting operations and support the Slitter Operator. The role ensures efficient, safe processing of steel coils and contributes to high-quality output.

You will monitor the process, perform routine equipment checks, and help with material handling while adhering to safety protocols and teamwork. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual used to a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience in metal fabrication or steel processing is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Commitment to quality control and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Slitter Operator in setting up and operating the slitting machine to cut steel coils to specified dimensions.
• Monitor the slitting process to ensure quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of slitting equipment for safety and performance.
• Handle and transport steel coils and finished products using approved equipment and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with team to troubleshoot operational issues during slitting.
• Participate in inventory tracking and report material discrepancies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and quality.
• Follow all company policies and safety regulations.

Job Purpose:- The Slitter Helper at Kenwal Steel Corporation is responsible for assisting in the slitting operations, ensuring the efficient and safe processing of steel coils.
