You will own a portfolio, work with customers and internal teams to manage demand, pricing, and performance, and travel as needed to support growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in account management, outside sales, or a related customer-facing role.
• Steel industry experience strongly preferred, especially in service centers or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of flat-rolled steel products and pricing dynamics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with an established base of customer accounts.
• Identify, pursue, and develop new customers and profitable business opportunities.
• Serve as a primary point of contact and understand customers' business, products, and needs.
• Plan visits, sales calls, presentations, and commercial discussions.
• Negotiate pricing, volumes, terms, and other commercial aspects.
• Monitor requirements and coordinate inventory to support demand.
• Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and internal teams to meet expectations.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and communicate market conditions.
• Share sales and purchasing intelligence with leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor account performance for profitable, sustainable growth.
• Manage company resources and expenses responsibly.
• Travel to customer locations and other business destinations as needed.
