Job summary

Primetals Technologies USA is seeking a Project Coordinator for our New London, OH Facility. You will estimate, plan, and coordinate project activities, acting as the main contact for customers and coordinating with other facilities to ensure on-time delivery within budget.

A high school diploma plus 5+ years in a steel maintenance repair setting is required. The role offers day-one benefits and opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute within a global engineering group.

Qualifications

• Estimates, plans, and coordinates activities of designated project within time and funding parameters.
• Experience in estimating cost and scope of machinery and mandrel component repair, recondition and new manufacture.
• Coordinates project activities with other MS Facilities.
• Contacts customer to coordinate shipping.
• Point of contact for customer relations on projects.
• Monitors activities to ensure progress is on schedule and within budget; provides technical advice.

Responsibilities

• Estimates, plans, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure goals are accomplished within time frame and funding parameters.
• Develops project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, shop routing, buying, and allotment of resources.
• Coordinates project activities with activities of other MS Facilities.
• Contacts customer to coordinate shipping.
• Point of contact for customer relations on projects.
• Monitors activities of personnel to ensure project progress is on schedule and within budget.
