Job summary

Primetals Technologies USA is seeking a Project Coordinator for our New London, OH Facility. You will estimate, plan, and coordinate project activities, acting as the main contact for customers and coordinating with other facilities to ensure on-time delivery within budget.

Qualifications

• Estimates, plans, and coordinates activities of designated project within time and funding parameters.
• Experience in estimating cost and scope of machinery and mandrel component repair, recondition and new manufacture.
• Coordinates project activities with other MS Facilities.
• Contacts customer to coordinate shipping.
• Point of contact for customer relations on projects.
• Monitors activities to ensure progress is on schedule and within budget; provides technical advice.

We are looking to hire for the position of Project Coordinator at our New London, OH Facility.

Responsibilities

• Estimates, plans, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through others in the facility.
• Develops project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, shop routing, buying, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Experience in the estimating cost and scope of machinery and mandrel component repair, recondition and new manufacture required.
• Coordinates project activities with activities of other MS Facilities.
• Contacts customer to coordinate shipping.
• Point of contact for customer relations on projects.
• Monitors activities of personnel to ensure project progress is on schedule and within prescribed budget.
• Provides technical advice to personnel to resolve problems.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Five+ years of experience in a steel maintenance repair facility.
