Job summary

Doral Corporation in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Steel Processing Equipment Operator to load, program, operate, and maintain metal processing machines including CNC plasma, robotic plasma, fiber laser, and water jet systems.

The ideal candidate has high school education and experience with laser/plasma tables, forklift operation, and welding. Civilian safety procedures and mechanical troubleshooting are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma.
• Experience with laser and plasma tables for steel sheet/plate processing, and forklift operating experience is required.
• Previous welding experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads files from network locations and initiates at machine.
• Operates multiple machines and learns unique machine operations quickly.
• Troubleshoots and performs preventative maintenance on laser and plasma tables.
• Positions work piece onto table or into fixture or with jib or crane.
• Diligently selects electrodes, gas nozzle, and adjusts amperage/pressure according to material.
