Job summary

Maysteel Industries, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a focused Laser Cutter Operator to perform daily setup and operation of laser cutting machines. You will load programs, manage tools, stage materials, and log activities in Epicor ERP while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will work in a manufacturing environment, collaborate with teammates, and support throughput by timely loading/unloading machines and performing routine maintenance as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily startup and shutdown procedures on laser machines.
• Use Epicor ERP to log into and out of jobs.
• Load programs and tools as authorized to ensure operation.
• Load and unload machines.
• Stage raw materials at each work-center for the day’s production.
• Maintain daily dust collector service and associated logbook in assigned area and report equipment deficiencies.
• Assist in loading and unloading team members’ machines when production requires additional manpower to maintain throughput.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment and work area in accordance with company standards and manufacturers machine recommendations.
