Job summary

EMJ is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to promote and maintain sales by originating and developing leads, working remotely via phone or email, and handling inquiries. The role involves selling fabricated and non-fabricated steel to industrial clients, managing relationships, processing orders, and coordinating with operations and the Test Reports Department.

Eligible employees participate in a quarterly Sales Incentive Program based on gross profit and team performance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of sales principles, customer service processes, and the metals industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong virtual presence and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell products to business and industrial establishments or individuals at the sales office.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and maintain relationships with assigned accounts.
• Develop sales strategies and plans to assess buying potential and product requirements.
• Coordinate with operations and Test Reports Department for certification requirements.
• Enter and follow up on quotations and process sales orders.
• Negotiate pricing within guidelines and facilitate execution of agreements.
