Job summary

Monarch Steel Company, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to move steel throughout our service center in a safe and efficient manner. You will operate forklift and overhead crane equipment, receive and ship materials, and stage products for sales and production orders.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent and a forklift/crane license. The role requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to work in a dynamic environment with rotating temperatures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift and/or crane license required.

Responsibilities

• Embraces the 1 TEAM culture and safely operates material handling equipment.
• Operate forklift and/or overhead cranes to move materials within the service center.
• Receive and/or ship material into the computer system as needed.
• Move and store products in designated areas with proper equipment.
• Stock and rotate materials; verify counts and shipments as needed.
