Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled fabricator to build steel molds for concrete, operating hand and power tools, performing welding tasks, and lifting duties as needed. The role requires attention to detail and accuracy in reading prints and measurements, with opportunities to use cutting equipment and torches in a safety-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of steel fabrication experience and a solid grasp of shop maths.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in steel fabrication.
• Ability to read fractions and a tape measure.
• Ability to read shop prints.
• Understanding of basic use of hand and power tools.
• Maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication of steel from parts using cutting equipment and welding per specifications.
• Completing vertical and horizontal arc and MIG welding.
• Using oxygen and fuel torches to cut steel.
• Using industrial steel tools such as a vertical band saw, drill press and grinders.
