Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled welder in our industrial plant to perform manual welding and steel fabrication tasks. You will fabricate molds and form parts, operate cutting tools, and work with lifting equipment, following project specifications.

Ideal candidates have experience in steel fabrication, can read shop drawings, and are able to pass arc and MIG welding certifications. This role requires lifting up to 40 lbs and familiarity with shop tools.

Qualifications

Experience in steel fabrication; 1 year preferred.
High school diploma / equivalent.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to read fractions and a tape measure.
Ability to read shop prints.
Arc welding and MIG welding with certification.
Use of oxy/fuel torch to cut steel.
Lift up to 40 lbs.
Experience with vertical band saw, drill press, plasma cutter, grinders.
Fork trucks, rolling equipment, and overhead bridge cranes.

Responsibilities

Fabrication of steel molds for concrete, including use of hand and power tools, welding, and lifting equipment.
Fabrication of steel form parts using various cutting equipment and welding to specification.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
