Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of planning experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow supervision and contribute to process improvements.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Planning Manager with CAD/FAB planning and scheduling.
• Set up material procurement scheduling and fabrication of steel.
• Maintain scheduling software databases and shop data.
• Coordinate with purchasing to meet fabrication sequence needs.
• Interpret specs and blueprints for processes and cost impacts.
• Develop work orders, production sequences, and delivery dates.
• Improve shop productivity and track production rates.
• Create cutting programs and manage shop logistics.
