Job summary

RK Industries, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented CAD/FAB planner to ensure fabrication meets customer requirements and to optimize shop schedules. You will work with Project Managers, Shop, and Field personnel to drive on-time delivery within budgets.

Responsibilities include updating sequence plans, coordinating daily production planning, and maintaining work orders. Strong blueprint interpretation and process-improvement mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD detailing and fabrication processes.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with shop scheduling and production planning.
• Familiarity with scheduling software and cross-functional coordination.
• Strong problem-solving and initiative in process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shop Superintendent to ensure CAD/FAB outputs meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate daily Production Planning and shop scheduling.
• Maintain and update sequence plans and work orders.
• Work with Purchasing to align material procurement with fabrication needs.
• Monitor shop productivity and provide data for management review.
• Interpret specifications for process improvements and cost impact.
