You will supervise ironworkers, welders, and operators, ensuring adherence to plans and safety standards while controlling costs and maintaining schedules. You will coordinate with project managers, manage materials and equipment, and uphold quality control through inspections and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction, focusing on steel erection and installation.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication, erection techniques, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead construction crews to meet project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and guide crews to complete work on time and within budget.
• Enforce safety regulations, conduct toolbox talks, and address hazards.
• Maintain quality inspections and address non-conformities in workmanship or materials.
• Coordinate delivery and storage of materials and equipment; monitor maintenance needs.
• Serve as primary liaison between project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and crews.
• Maintain daily activity records and submit progress reports as required.
