Job summary

Systematic Business Consulting in Rowley, MA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead steel construction projects along the Northeast. You will manage budgets, schedules, and communications with clients, architects, and contractors.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of PM experience in steel construction, reads steel and architectural drawings, and is proficient with MS Office. Relocation assistance is available and annual wage increases are offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of PM experience in steel construction.
• Ability to read and interpret steel/architectural drawings.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Understanding OSHA regulations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in PM/Engineering or related field (plus).

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor construction project budgets.
• Coordinate material, equipment, and installation schedules.
• Work closely with detailers, joist & deck suppliers, and erectors.
• Review and submit shop drawings and project submittals.
• Manage client needs, expectations, and project communications.
• Visit job sites and attend on-site project meetings.
• Coordinate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners.
• Negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to the original scope of work.
• Manage multiple projects through various stages of completion.
