Job summary

Opti Staffing Group in Salem, Oregon is seeking a Steel Drafter/Designer to create fabrication and installation drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D and Inventor. You will work with engineering, production and project management to ensure drawings meet standards and support on-time delivery.

Requirements include 1+ year experience with Tekla/XSteel, proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor, and knowledge of AISC/ASTM specs. This is an in-office, full-time role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor.
• 1+ year experience with Tekla/XSteel.
• Familiarity with AISC and ASTM specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Create fabrication and installation drawings in AutoCAD 2D/3D and Inventor.
• Prepare BOMs and layouts per project requirements.
• Ensure drawings meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, production and PM to meet schedules.
• Support process and quality improvements.
• Perform other drafting tasks as assigned.
