Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. in Texas seeks a dependable Material Handler to support movement of raw, in-process and finished steel products. You will operate forklifts, read blueprints, measure lengths, and prepare beams for punching and cutting.

This full-time role requires attention to detail, ability to work long shifts (including weekends), and safety-minded practices. Prior forklift experience is preferred with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure and blue prints.
• Experience operating forklifts is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills required.
• Must understand basic English for work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Move raw, in-process and finished steel products using forklift or manual handling.
• Operate saw and punch as required by blueprints and job orders.
• Prepare beams and measure exact lengths before cutting.
• Record units handled on production sheets and tickets.
• Inspect equipment prior to use and report any safety concerns.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow supervisor directions.
