Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a full-time forklift/operator to move materials within the manufacturing facility. The role involves operating forklifts and overhead cranes to handle steel plates and poles, loading and unloading, and staging stock for production.

You will work in a plant environment with PPE requirements and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience with heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Forklift driving or crane/heavy equipment experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in the English language within all levels of a team environment.
• Must comply with safety rules, PPE and operating procedures.
• Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds and work in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists machine operators, welders, and other personnel in loading/unloading, transporting raw, in-process, and finished materials throughout the facility.
• Uses forklifts and cranes to safely move steel plates and poles of various sizes.
• Stages stock and finished steel plate to production.
• Moves in-process and finished poles to appropriate areas.
• Contributes to a safe working environment by upholding quality and safety standards.
