Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Heavy equipment experience required.
• Able to read tape measure.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Must be highly motivated.
• Able to communicate and work well with others.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Measure, compare and perform shop calculations to ensure products conform to engineering or sales specs using tools and equipment in the shop.
• Material fit ups and layouts with steel.
• Position and secure workpieces using hand tools, forklifts, etc.
• Inspect products/equipment for defects or malfunctions.
• Sanding/grinding.
• Breaking out steel.
• Steel panel assembly with bolt together construction.
• Material handling/forklift.
