Responsibilities

• Measure, compare and perform shop calculations to ensure conformance with engineering or sales specifications using materials, methods and equipment in the shop (sanders, drills, air, and electric hand cutting tools)
• Material fit ups and layouts with steel
• Position and secure workpieces using hand tools, forklifts, etc.
• Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions
• Sanding/grinding
• Breaking out steel
• Steel panel assembly with bolt together construction
• Material handling/forklift
