Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating saws or similar shop equipment preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures and basic drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in a team environment.
• Experience in fabrication, industry, or controls environment.
• Familiarity with different metals and cutting techniques.
• Prolonged periods of working outdoors.
• Prolonged exposure to the outside elements and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate band saws and other cutting equipment to cut metal materials to specified dimensions.
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and cut lists.
• Measure and verify material sizes to ensure accuracy.
• Load/unload materials and stage for fabrication or assembly.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of saw equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist with general shop duties as needed.
