Towson University is seeking a qualified steamfitter to join the Operations team on the Main Campus. The role requires installation and maintenance of piping systems including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as providing training to maintenance personnel.

The ideal candidate will have four years of relevant experience and comprehensive knowledge of safety practices and steamfitting techniques. The job requires adhering to specifications and performing duties in potentially hazardous environments while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• Four years progressively responsible experience in the steamfitting trade.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Skill in making adjustments and repairs to mechanical equipment.

Responsabilités

• Installs and maintains various piping systems.
• Repairs heat radiation units and hot water boilers.
• Provides guidance and training in steamfitting work.
