Job summary

EDMO is seeking an After School Instructor to teach all EDMO STEAM/SEL curricula, train on the full program, and help students grow through engaging, age-appropriate activities after school.

You will build positive relationships with students, support safe and lively learning environments, manage supplies, track attendance, and collaborate with parents and staff to foster curiosity, empathy, teamwork, and confidence in every child.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with groups of students preferred.
• Willingness to complete Instructional Assistant Exam or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Teach all EDMO STEAM/SEL curriculum in after-school program.
• Train on EDMO curricula and contribute to lesson refinements.
• Interact with parents professionally and energetically.
• Help cultivate self-esteem and a love for learning.
• Maintain supply inventory, prep materials, and cleanup.
• Record attendance, notes, and daily activity logs.
• Lead engaging activities that promote teamwork and physical activity.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions.
• Ensure student safety and a positive experience for all.
