This role emphasizes collaboration with partners, staff training, and community outreach to foster creativity and learning, with a strong focus on data-driven program evaluation and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Multilingual is a plus.
• Two years of experience with makerspace technology, technology instruction, or other creative-based work.
• Strong knowledge of STEAM concepts, principles, and educational trends.
• Strong writing, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Excellent instructional and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop educational STEAM programs and manage Makerspace operations.
• Collaborate with partners and educators to create engaging programs.
• Oversee Makerspace equipment and accessibility, including 3D printers and robotics kits.
• Provide patron support and staff training on STEAM topics and tools.
• Collect and analyze program data to evaluate effectiveness.
• Promote STEAM literacy through outreach and partnerships.
• Assist patrons at service desks with reference, readers' advisory, and transactions.
