Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale is looking for a Makerspace Program Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for STEAM programs in Scottsdale. You will design, implement and oversee an interdisciplinary STEAM curriculum and makerspace initiatives that inspire youth to think creatively through making, engineering, art and design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ teaching experience in the sciences, engineering technology, and/or the arts.
• Knowledge of STEAM education best practices.

Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees STEAM programs across the Club.
• Plans, coordinates, and implements STEAM activities and curricula.
• Coaches staff on project-based learning and instructional design.
• Makes sure Makerspaces are safe, well-maintained and compliant with policies.
