Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester is seeking an Assistant STEM Director for the Jordan Singer Youth Enrichment Center in Manchester, NH. You will help plan and deliver STEAM programming, supervise staff, and ensure daily operations meet national standards.

The role focuses on integrating arts with STEM, supporting staff, and tracking outcomes for grants and reporting. A background in STEM/education and strong communication are essential, with flexibility for varied hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass criminal background screening and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Support the STEM Director in planning, organizing, and implementing daily STEAM programming.
• Serve as acting program lead in the absence of the STEM Director.
• Integrate arts and creative technology into STEM curriculum and activities.
• Support national STEM programs and academic skill-building projects for members of all ages.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to STEM program assistants.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and staff development.
• Create a positive, inclusive environment where members are engaged and supported.
• Promote STEM programs through schedules, club communications, and events.
• Track participation and outcomes for grant reporting and metrics.
• Manage STEM program supply inventory and monitor expenditures within budget.
• Ensure adherence to safety, training, and organizational policies.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
