Job summary

Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to oversee troop sessions for girls in grades K–12 across virtual, day, and after-school programming. The role includes visiting program sites in Indiana and supporting volunteers to ensure engaging, structured programming.

The position is hourly, full-time with benefits and overtime eligibility; travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in education, psychology, youth development or program delivery preferred.
• 1–3 years of youth development experience in out-of-school or classroom settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead troop sessions with girls in grades K–12 during virtual, day, and after-school programming.
• Visit program sites in Indiana.
• Maintain records for attendance and troop/girl information following procedures.
