Badgerland Girl Scouts in Madison, WI seeks a Girl in ACTION Facilitator to guide a group of girls in 6-week, after-school troops, providing pre-planned curriculum at each site to help girls participate in age-appropriate activities focused on helping them explore their community and their world.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; plus an associate degree in Education, Communications, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience working with school-aged children in after-school or camp settings.
• Ability to engage youth, communicate clearly, and work with diverse backgrounds; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead 6-week, after-school troop activities for girls in grades K–6.
• Deliver pre-planned curriculum focused on GSLE, leadership, and community exploration.
• Foster a positive learning environment and build relationships with youth, families, and schools.
• Coordinate with sites to manage paperwork, attendance, and program evaluations.
• Represent Girl Scouts of Wisconsin–Badgerland and model mission and values.
