Job summary

codeCampus is seeking a Lead Instructor to teach STEAM topics to students in Ventura and surrounding areas for the current school year. You will work with site staff at partner schools and lead projects using our proprietary curriculum.

This role suits early-career or seasoned educators. You will teach TK–8th, build relationships with parents and students, create a safe classroom, and participate in our training program. Availability Monday to Friday and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Available to start training immediately (paid).
• Availability: Mondays to Fridays.
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willing to go through our professional development training program.

Responsibilities

• Lead STEAM projects/activities for students in classrooms using our curriculum.
• Teach students in grades TK-8th.
• Create relationships with parents and students that build trust and respect.
• Create a safe environment for the students.
• Additional duties as assigned.
