Job summary

codeCampus is seeking to hire and train a Floating Lead Instructor to work within the Ventura area for the current school year.

You will lead STEAM projects with students in TK–8th grade, work with site staff at partner schools, and build trusting relationships with parents and students while ensuring a safe learning environment. The role requires exceptional communication and reliable transportation; paid training starts immediately. Opportunities for raises based on performance.

Qualifications

• Available to start training immediately (paid).
• Availability: 12-15 hours per week with listed time slots.
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willing to go through our professional development training program.

About you

This role is great for early-career educators and seasoned educators alike. Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:

• Available to start training immediately (paid), and to start instructing immediately


• Availability: Approximately 12-15 hours per week
  Monday 1:00pm - 2:45pm
  Tuesday 3:00pm - 5:00pm
  Wednesday 1:00pm - 4:30pm
  Thursday 2:30pm - 5:30pm
  Friday 1:15pm - 3:45pm


• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting


• Exceptional communication skills


• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license


• Willing to go through our professional development training program

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00/hr depending on experience, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
