Job summary

codeCampus is seeking a Floating Lead Instructor to work within the Ventura area for the current school year. You will collaborate with site staff at partner schools, lead STEAM projects using our curriculum, and teach students in grades TK-8.

Ideal candidates are early or seasoned educators with strong communication skills, reliability, and a willingness to complete our professional development training. The role offers ~12–15 hours weekly at $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Available to start training immediately (paid).
• Availability: approx. 12-15 hours per week; Mon–Fri.
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to go through our professional development training program.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00/hr depending on experience, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
