codeCampus is seeking a Floating Lead Instructor to work within the Ventura area for the current school year. You will work with site staff at our partner schools, leading STEAM projects for students in classrooms using our proprietary curriculum, teaching TK-8th.

This role suits both early-career and experienced educators. Training is paid, with approximately 12-15 hours per week and a fixed weekly schedule. The hourly rate is $25.00, with potential raises based on performance and tenure.

Qualifications

• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

About you

This role is great for early-career educators and seasoned educators alike. Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:

• Available to start training immediately (paid), and to start instructing immediately


• Availability: Approximately 12-15 hours per week
  Monday 1:00pm - 2:45pm
  Tuesday 3:00pm - 5:00pm
  Wednesday 1:00pm - 4:30pm
  Thursday 2:30pm - 5:30pm
  Friday 1:15pm - 3:45pm


• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting


• Exceptional communication skills


• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license


• Willing to go through our professional development training program

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00/hr depending on experience, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
