codeCampus is seeking a Floating Lead Instructor to work within the Ventura area for the current school year. You will work with site staff at our partner schools, leading STEAM projects for students in classrooms using our proprietary curriculum, teaching TK-8th.

This role suits both early-career and experienced educators. Training is paid, with approximately 12-15 hours per week and a fixed weekly schedule. The hourly rate is $25.00, with potential raises based on performance and tenure.

Qualifications

• Available to start training immediately (paid).
• Availability: 12-15 hours per week with fixed days/times.
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to complete professional development training.

Responsibilities

• Work with site staff at partner schools in the Ventura area.
• Lead STEAM projects/activities for students using the curriculum.
• Teach students in grades TK-8.
• Build relationships with parents and students based on trust and respect.
• Create a safe learning environment and perform additional duties as assigned.
