Job summary

Ruth's Chris Steak House, part of Prime Hospitality Group, is seeking a Prep Cook to join the Ruth's Chris Steak House team. You will prep, portion, prepare, and assemble cold foods to meet our recipe standards and quality expectations.

We are looking for a candidate with a High School diploma or GED, strong BOH knowledge, and the ability to work in extreme temperatures including a -10°F freezer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and complete our training program.

• Advanced knowledge of the stations and equipment in a kitchen.
• Must be able to work with extreme temperatures, including a -10°F walk-in freezer.
• Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, prepare, and assemble all cold food items according to Ruth's Chris recipes and standards.
• Execute food preparation procedures to ensure quality and recipe compliance; support Sous Chef/Manager-on-Duty.
