Job summary

Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Annapolis is seeking a prep cook to join the kitchen team. You will prep, portion, and assemble all restaurant items, ensuring recipes and quality standards are met for each plate.

You will maintain high sanitation and safety standards, follow the prep lists, and support other kitchen staff to deliver a superior dining experience. This full-time role requires availability nights, weekends, and holidays; a strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a prep cook in a full-service or upscale dining setting.
• Experience with fresh ingredients preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Preps all food items according to recipes and standards.
• Portions, assembles and plates dishes for service.
• Maintains sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety at all times.
• Reports issues to Sous Chef/Chef promptly.
• Supports back-of-house to ensure seamless guest experience.
• Completes station closing duties and maintains station readiness.
