K Construction is seeking a dependable Building Crew Member in Alta Vista, KS to join our field-based team. You will support post-frame, steel-frame, residential, agricultural, and commercial projects, handling site prep, framing, and finish work.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, carpentry, framing, roofing, agricultural buildings, or general labor preferred.
• Basic knowledge of tools, materials, and jobsite safety.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn new construction skills and techniques.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, climb, bend, and perform physically demanding work.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction of post-frame, steel-frame, residential, agricultural, and commercial buildings.
• Prepare jobsites, tools, equipment, and materials for daily work.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials and components.
• Assist with framing, roofing, siding, trim, doors, windows, and related tasks.
• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely.
• Follow project plans and instructions from crew leaders and foremen.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites.
• Work effectively with the crew to keep projects on schedule.
• Complete work according to K Construction's quality standards.
