Qualifications

• Experience in construction, carpentry, framing, roofing, agricultural buildings, or general labor preferred.
• Basic knowledge of tools, materials, and jobsite safety.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn new construction skills and techniques.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, climb, bend, and perform physically demanding work.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

Location: Alta Vista, KS -- Field-based work on construction projects throughout the surrounding Kansas communities.

K Construction is looking for a dependable and hardworking Building Crew Member to join our construction team.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced crew members to build post-frame, steel-frame, residential, agricultural, and commercial structures. You will assist with projects throughout the construction process, from preparing the jobsite and handling materials to framing, installing building components, and completing finish work.
