The position requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and 3+ years in statutory accounting, ideally with leadership experience and GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• 3+ years in statutory accounting, preferably in financial services.
• 3+ years in a leadership role with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in daily statutory accounting functions (ledger maintenance, claims accounting, revenue and asset accounting, reporting).
• Develop and maintain statutory accounting policies and procedures.
• Direct development and production of reporting tools and KPIs to analyze trends in operating expenses, headcount, and risks/opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, products, legal changes to adjust plans for compliance.
• Coordinate with third-party service providers, Treasury, and Group Accounting for accurate portfolio tracking and regulatory filings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
