Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of statutory accounting experience; leadership with cross-functional teams preferred.
• Familiarity with GAAP and regulatory requirements for public accounting.
• Flexible hours and strong budgeting/contract management experience.
• Strong business acumen and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in day-to-day statutory accounting functions and reporting.
• Develop and maintain statutory accounting policies, procedures, and tools.
• Direct reporting tools and KPIs to analyze operating expenses and risks.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes to adjust plans.
• Oversee investment accounting with third-party providers and treasury.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
