Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a skilled Winder to rewind and rebuild electromechanical equipment. You will remove windings, inspect for damage, wind new coils, and perform voltage testing on standard windings.

The role adapts to experience level and focuses on quality and safety. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in rewinding AC/DC motors, understands winding fields and armatures, and can read schematics and perform essential calculations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years rewinding AC and DC motors.
• Experience in winding fields, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles.
• Ability to perform basic math operations and understand fractions.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to moderately complex instructions.
• Knowledge of job-related training, operations, and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate machinery and hoists.

Responsibilities

• Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment.
• Dismantle and/or strip damaged equipment, including media blasting.
• Inspect equipment for winding damage and electrical malfunctions.
• Document data on electromagnetic characteristics and operating conditions.
• Prepare reusable parts for rewinding and inspect for defects.
• Test rewound equipment according to standards and document results.
