Qualifications

• Experience with stator/armature winding or motor assembly preferred.
• Read wiring diagrams, winding diagrams, drawings and work instructions.
• Knowledge of wire sizes, insulation materials, and winding techniques.
• Experience using hand tools, soldering equipment, and basic measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and steady workmanship.
• Ability to stand for long periods; flexible for weekends.

Responsibilities

• WIND stators and armatures according to drawings and patterns.
• Install copper wire, coils, insulation, sleeves, wedges and components.
• Prepare, form, insert, tie, lace and secure coils.
• Perform armature winding, coil placement, soldering/brazing, and connections.
• Assemble stator and armature components using hand tools and fixtures.
• Follow winding schedules, wire sizes, turns, coil dimensions, and diagrams.
• Lead preparation, terminal connections, soldering and insulation.
• Inspect windings and assemblies for workmanship and insulation.
• Conduct electrical tests and visual inspections.
• Identify and report defects; maintain records.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain tools and work areas; assist with troubleshooting.
