Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking individuals to support Stator Winder B operations in Charlotte. You will learn all operations, set up tooling, wind, block, braze, insulate and prepare components for heat cycles in a manufacturing environment.

Eligible applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate proficiency with shop tools, measurement devices, and basic math. Some roles require forklift certification and respirator fitness tests.

• Proficient use of common shop tools and measurement devices.
• Ability to read simple forms and perform basic math calculations.
• Must be able to pass hearing, vision and pulmonary tests.

Job description

Snapshot of Your Day:

Responsible for learning all operations of a Stator Winder B.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Become familiar with all tooling and equipment.
• Wind, block, band, mix resin, clean, braze, insulate and set-up for heat cycle (GVPI).

What You Bring:

• High school education or equivalent.
• Prefer to have a candidate with 4 or more years of industrial-mechanical experience.
• Proficiency with shop tools and ability to use precision measuring equipment.
• Basic math skills. Ability to read, write, and complete simple forms. Successful applicants must be able to pass hearing, vision and pulmonary test.
• Operator must be able to be fit to wear a respirator.
• Must be able to obtain a fork truck license.
