Job summary

Siemens Energy in the United States is seeking a hands-on assembler to build and assemble generator cores, including pressure plates, and to operate robotic systems in a manufacturing setting. You will perform fitting, torque, and bolt-tightening per drawings while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years of industrial-mechanical experience preferred, and the ability to lift 50 lb, read drawings, and pass health and safety tests.

Qualifications

  • High school education or GED required.
  • Prefer 4+ years of industrial-mechanical experience.
  • Proficiency with shop tools – grinders, sanders, drills, ratchets, wrenches, etc., and ability to choose optimal tool for the task.
  • Required to lift / move 50 lb. materials.
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment. Basic math skills. Ability to read, write, and complete simple forms.
  • Successful applicants must be able to pass hearing, vision, and pulmonary tests. Operator must be able to be fit to wear a respirator. Must also be able to obtain fork truck and crane license.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

How You’ll Make an Impact

What You Bring:
