Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Coursework/training in stationary engineering, air conditioning, refrigeration, steam fitting, and/or electricity expected.
• Must possess a 3rd Class Stationary Engineer’s License for Ohio and 4 years of licensed experience.
• Valid driver's license; ability to read blueprints.
• Good problem solving and sound judgment; basic PC skills; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC/hospital equipment.
• Maintain Power House/major HVAC equipment and respond to building emergencies.
• Monitor hospital systems from the control center; report and mitigate issues.
• Uphold The MetroHealth System mission, values, and customer service standards.
